TroopPlanner v0.56.0

← All releases

Event fees can now be optional, one photo can live in more than one gallery, and the photo viewer opens faster.

What's new on the site

Events

  • Event fees can now be required or optional. A fee can be marked optional so it stays the member's choice on RSVP, instead of every fee being forced onto the RSVP the way all fees worked before.
  • The locked mobile RSVP chip is tappable again, matching desktop: tapping a closed or not-yet-open RSVP now explains why, instead of doing nothing.
  • Recurring event occurrences now pick up their default tags when they're generated, so they show up wherever tags are used to filter — a fix ships with a backfill for occurrences already generated without them.
  • The automatic flip from Completed to Archived status is more reliable, and the locked-status edit form is fixed.
  • The calendar feed and other event date displays are anchored to your troop's own clock, not a generic one.

Advancement

  • A position's training/badge family now reports correctly — a mismatch could previously show the wrong requirement group for a position.
  • Date fields on the advancement matrix page handle invalid entries better.

Imports

  • An undated TroopMaster merit badge now imports as in progress, not as earned today.

Reports & exports

  • Position-of-Responsibility credit no longer loses precision as it flows through reports, print views, and the advancement tracker.

Permissions

  • The user management list gained a sortable Last login column.

Photos & galleries

  • A photo can now be shared across more than one gallery, instead of belonging to just one.
  • The lightbox loads a smaller 1600px display copy instead of the full camera original, so opening a photo is faster.

Performance & reliability

  • Bulk roster imports and BSA reference reloads run faster. Cache refreshes that used to fire once per imported row now batch to once per run.
